In an effort to help reduce the number of unwanted pets in Lincoln County, HATS is proud to sponsor Fix For Fewer, a low cost spay/neuter option for qualified Lincoln County Pet Owners.
Pricing for Fix For Fewer spays or neuters:
All Cats: $25
Dogs:
(Under 30 lbs) – $35
(31-60 lbs) – $45
(61-90 lbs) – $55
Rabies Vaccines: $10
Eligibility and Proof of Income Requirements
1. To qualify for the HATS Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
- Medicaid (not Medicare)
- Food Stamps (EBT)
- SSI (not Social Security or Social Security Disability)
- -OR – Family income is at or below the following amounts:
2. In addition, the pet owner must provide some form of proof that the above conditions exist.
Examples of proof (but not limited to the following):
- Medicaid Card
- Letter of Food and Nutrition Service Eligibility (Food Stamps)
- Recent Paycheck Stub
- Recent Tax Return if Self Employed
- SSI
- Unemployment
- Workers Comp Statement
- W2 Forms
NOTE: Income documents must include ALL household income, meaning everyone in the family that works or has a source of income.
