Thank you so much for helping the homeless animals of Lincoln County NC with your generous gift.
Some areas of special requests for donations include an Emergency Medical Fund to help animals who are sick and injured get the treatment they need. The TNR fund will help us manage the feral or community cat population through purchasing traps and assisting colony caregivers with the cost of spaying/neutering and vaccinating cats. Through donations to our Spay/Neuter fund, we will be able to host low cost/high volume Spay Neuter clinics, as well as assist pet owners with the costs of spay/neuter when needed.
To use your credit card or PayPal, click one of the “donate” buttons to the right and follow the simple instructions.
You can donate as much as you’d like in any amount, and you can choose to make a monthly contribution if you’d like. Every dollar counts and every dollar donated goes directly to the programs helping the animals. HATS is an all-volunteer organization.
We use PayPal services to accept donations, however you do NOT need a PayPal account to use a credit card to donate. A receipt will be emailed to you.
If you prefer to mail a check, please make your check payable to:

Your generosity is greatly appreciated and very needed as we work toward giving every animal a chance in Lincoln County and the surrounding area.
Donations to the Emergency Medical Fund are used to treat animals with serious or life-threatening emergencies in the shelter or foster care.
Help unadoptable cats at the shelter find a home through the HATS Barn Cat program. Funds go toward medical care, sterilization, and food and supplies for these kitties.
Our Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage program for cats helps us manage the community cats that live in Lincoln County. Donations go toward purchasing traps, and assisting colony managers with costs of sterilization and vaccines.
Spaying and Neutering pets is critical to the success of our No Kill Shelter. Donations to this fund go toward assisting pet owners who need financial assistance in order to spay or neuter their pets.
If you would like to donate to the General Fund, our HATS board will decide where the funds are most needed.
